How to force the numeric key portion to only ever show/input numbers irrespective of the state of the system Num Lock or the shift key

It is better to assign custom pictures to these keys:
1. Open window "Edit keyboard type".
2. Select a key.
3. Open file in field "Picture".
4. Check option "Transparent".
